Someone hates history,someone loves like me. If you love it, it's good but if you hate this article is for you! I will write now the reasons why should we learn history.
We study history in order to learn about the past and to learn from the past. By studying history hopefully nations can prevent making the same mistakes over and over. For example Germany. You all know how was Germany in 1939-1945. The dictator was Adolf Hitler.There was a big genocide of Jews.Today Hitler is a shame for German people and they don't want to make the same mistake again.
History helps us understand how this present evolved. Its a journey across time and space. It transports us into another world, an economy, age, in which people lived differently. Their economy, society, beliefs, clothes, food, settlements, buildings and arts and crafts all were different. History can open door into such world.
History is not just about past. Its about present. By studying history we can understand how the modern world evolved over a long centuries of development.
Moreover, while studying history, we develop important skills and qualities. When we try to enter an another world to explore it, we open up our minds and break out of our present worlds. We begin to think how other people may think and act. It gives us a learning experience.
If you don't learn history, you don't know who were your Ancestors,what were they doing and how made they world where you live now.
History also gives a big information about culture,traditions,religions which every men must keep these things. If you don't know anything about this how can you do something good for your county or the world? For example Georgian people has very big culture about wine. Making wine has very big history in Georgia. Many rivals wanted to delete this culture from our minds but no one could make this,because Georgian people knew how important this culture is and what the Ancestors did to keep this.
