The 1st Ancestral Scroll: Presentation
Sejam bem-vindos ao meu jornal, The Ancestral Scrolls!
Irei postar artigos variados, tanto relacionados com o jogo, como opiniões pessoais sobre os mais variados temas.
Para primeiro Scroll, deixo-vos algumas recomendações de entretenimento, para parem o tempo.
Irei começar por listar algumas séries recentes que acompanho e que recomendo (não irei listar todas, apenas algumas que terão pado despercebidas ao "grande público"):
- The Man In the High Castle: pa-se no período pós 2ª Guerra Mundial, com um twist... Os Nazis e os Japoneses venceram a guerra. Série bem interessante, com uma realidade bem diferente da que conhecemos.
- Billions: aborda o mundo dos investimentos económicos e das apostas na bolsa de mercado. Com personagens de carácter forte, é uma série que rapidamente agarra.
- Vinyl: explora o mundo das editoras discográficas na sua época de ouro, os anos 70, com a explosão do rock'n'roll. Sem dúvida que é uma boa série para quem gosta de rock, jazz, blues, punk... A juntar a isto, é , talvez, o grande blockbuster de 2016 porque é da HBO e tem Martin Scorsese e Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) como criadores.
Nos próximos dias, irei começar a ver The Night Manager e 11.22.63 (e claro, todas as outras imensas séries que acompanho).
Leituras
Com a faculdade e as séries, as leituras andam paradas. No entanto, para que gosta de fantasia, recomendo a trilogia "O Braço Esquerdo de Deus". Leitura fácil, com algum enfase em estratégia militar, pado num universo paralelo mas onde podemos fazer várias "pontes" fáceis para o mundo real.
Noutro tipo de leitura, para quem gostar de BD, recomendo a leitura de "Injustice: Gods Among Us". Não vou entrar em muitos detalhes. Vou apenas dizer que foi a melhor BD que li até hoje, deste género.
Música
Os meus gostos musicais recaem muito sobre o Stoner, Doom e Heavy Metal. Serão talvez os estilos que mais oiço actualmente. Quero deixar-vos um exemplo de uma banda que descobri há dois anos atrás: Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats (vão estar em Portugal em 2016, no SonicBlast Moledo):
Outro nome muito bom, também presente no mesmo festival, são os All Them Witches.
E pronto, foi esta a minha primeira experiência de escrita aqui no eRevollution. Confesso que não é nada de especial mas o tempo também não é muito.

Welcome to my newspaper, The Ancestral Scrolls!
I will post various articles, both related to the game, and others not related, such as personal opinions on various topics.
For this 1st Scroll, I leave you some entertainment recommendations for you to spend your free time.
TV series
I will start by listing some recent TV series that I wtach and recommend (I will not list all, just a few that have gone unnoticed to the "general public"):
- The Man In the High Castle: set in the post 2nd World War period, with a twist ... The Nazis and the Japanese won the war. A very interesting series, with a completely different alternative reality.
- Billions: set in the world of economic investments and market exchange. With strong characters, it is a series that quickly grabs you!
- Vinyl: explores the world of record labels in its golden age, the 70s, with the explosion of rock'n'roll. No doubt it is a good series for those who like rock, jazz, blues, punk ... In addition to this, it is perhaps the big blockbuster of 2016 because it's HBO and it has Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger (Rolling Stones) as creators.
In the near future, I will start to watch The Night Manager and 11/22/63 (and of course all the other many series that I follow).
Readings
With college, real life matters and TV series, time for reading has been short. However, we always find time for the things we love. For those who like fantasy, I recommend "The Left Hand of God" trilogy. Easy reading, with some emphasis on military strategy, set in a parallel universe but where we can make several "bridges" between the the books and the real world.
In another type of reading, for those who like Comics, I recommend that you read "Injustice: Gods Among Us." I will not go into much detail. I'll just say it was the best comic I have ever read, of this kind.
Music
My musical tastes are mainly Stoner, Doom and Heavy Metal. They are, perhaps, the styles that I listen more nowadays. I want to give you an example of a band that I discovered two years ago: Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats (they will be on tour through Europe during the summer):
Another great band that you can listen to is All Them Witches.
So... That's it for my 1st Scroll! I confess it's nothing spectacular but time is short at the moment.
