Agreement on Peaceful Cooperation

concluded between Hungary, on the one hand, and the Czech Republic, on the other, on the following terms:

1. Purpose of the Agreement
The Parties declare that the purpose of this Agreement is to maintain mutual peace, respect and cooperation, and to prevent all kinds of conflicts.

2. Non-aggression Obligation
The Parties undertake not to initiate any armed, political or economic attack or hostile action against each other, directly or indirectly, from today onwards.

3. Conflict Management
In the event of any disagreement, the Parties undertake to resolve it peacefully, through negotiation and diplomatic consultation.

4. Mutual Respect
The Parties respect each other's sovereignty, territorial integrity and non-interference in each other's internal affairs.

5. Entry into force
This Agreement shall enter into force on this day and shall be valid for an indefinite period.

6. Final provisions
The Parties confirm that peaceful coexistence and cooperation are in the common interest of both countries.
