In the past week i may have asked some friends in Romania not to fight hard in RWs against USA. They asked why? Read on maybe you will find your answer
There was a time, when I had willingly signed agreements with Romania CP for USA regions.
If you remember your history well, Mr Bogdan, the winner of the Halloween cosplay contest, was the CP of Romania back then. Initially it was a pain to communicate with Mr Bogdan but that was because he was very busy at work.
Together with Serbia, Romania there was plenty of space for Turkey to own a USA region too.
Steppenwolf was and still is the Serbian CP and kocaelispor whom i didnt know back then was the Turkish CP, who later even became Romanian MoFA. I must admit, that when i joined USA and this game, anyone who attacked USA was considered an enemy. But when I made an effort to have a dialogue with the so called enemy, their responses weren't hostile. They were willing to negotiate and since then USA has had agreements with Serbia, Romania, Turkey among other countries and it continues till today. Even the Greece CP tsigger has been a friend since a very long time and has honours all short term agreements made between the two nations.
But there is one change. Mr Bogdan stepped down as CP of Romania around a year ago and since then has been replaced by titziano. Normally everyone has an opinion that the rent USA is paid which is an average of 20-25g per region is too less but then the new Romanian CP had a take it or leave it offer of 50g for around 5 regions.
His explanation was Romania would pay 50g for sand at New Jersey which was completing their 4x100 bonus at that time and which was earning them around 40k cc in tax revenues daily as they were the only country with 4x100 bonus back then. That is around 200g per day! When i requested for 100g because Romania earned double of that in a day, i was told its none of my business!
Anyway I was told that the other regions could be liberated "if USA manages to hit above Romania" followed by a :) smiley
I should have known back then what the intentions were, because when Serbia or Greece agree to liberate a particular region of USA which USA would request for, you would find the Serbian CP steppenwolf himself or the Greek citizens fighting on the USA side!!!
Now i have realised the character of such people because they had not only the trust of their own citizens but also won the respect of their so called enemies.
The last month of messaging the Romanian CP has elicited just 1 reply saying that he never said Romania would liberate any USA regions. I would say its my mistake that I dont have any evidence of him saying so but lesson learnt for the future.
Anyway to cut a long story short, USA was not paid even the measly 50g promised for the 4-5 regions sonce over 3 months while i ume Romania does not want to give up any regions even if the cost of dow and attacks almost comes upto the paltry sum of 50g. I can only ume that Romania wants USA regions rent free while the other nations pay a monthly rent. If you had the chance, whom would you prefer to give your regions to??? I wouod prefer any region who would simply respect USA and pay a nominal/fair rent. I know this is a war game but is that too much to ask for?
I cannot do much but i just wanted to document this so that Romanians and everyone else knows the story so far.

The story so far: country demands $ from occupier but they won t pay for regions.
It s like Iraq/Afghanistan is asking the USA for $ bc they conquered that land....Do you think they d pay?

Personally from my Experience in Region leasings the best Dignified Rent payers are the Greeks.

Cmmon, everyone is affraid to shoot against romania, they call them friends, serbs especially will not interfere anywhere, you should start realising your regions, not giving them to any country, serbia have usa regions for more than 3 years. BUt this is how it looks when you sit on 2 chairs
