Happy Friday, eAmerica.

After a long, complicated, 3-front war, leadership from Mexico, Japan, and the USA came to an agreement regarding a ceasefire. (More detail found here).
According to the terms laid out, the cease-fire will last for 4 more days. At that point, the leaders will meet again to determine whether a lasting peace can be achieved. The main positive outcome from this negotiation was the returning oF all US regions lost during the war. These will be regained via Resistance War (RW). Do not worry about putting much damage into these fights. If for some reason, someone on the other side gets overzealous as they gain TP points and the tide turns towards Japan/S Korea, coordinated action will be taken to ensure the region is won.

A special thank you is due to our allies. They fought hard at our side during the battles, and should be commended. We will continue to stand by them as well, strengthening the EAGLE alliance in the process.

Our dedicated citizens should also be commended. Many of you put down over 1,000,000 damage per battle, at great expense to yourself. For your sacrifice and dedication, we are thankful!

It is the hope of the US administration that the peace achieved this past week can be maintained, but in a game such as this, nothing is guaranteed. We must always be prepared for anything as a nation. For now, please dedicate your efforts to storing an appropriate level of food for you own use, donating some goods to promising new citizens, and working/providing jobs to further strengthen our economy. Please also keep an eye on the often update DO's - we will continue to support our many allies all around the world. Our dedicated military leadership pay close attention to the tides of various battles, as well as the timing, while we coordinate with other allies to ensure victory for all. The road before us is clear!
