Hello everyone!

In that article I would like to express how disappointed not only me, but many players, are with this last tournament. First of all I would like to say Im not taking any side here, my viewpoint is based on GAMEPLAY, so please don´t take any complaint here as an personal attack to your country, it wasn´t you who decided how tournament would work, but the admins.

I may start with at least one, and I think the only, praise to the admins. The overall idea of an tournament between countries is really very nice and brings fun to game, it encourages coordination and activity, besides bring something totally new in eRevollution. However, the way it was done here was totally unfair and brought a different effect for many countries outside top 15 powerful countries.

The problem begins in what determine the winning countries: GROSS damage. Isn´t it quite obvious which countries will be allowed to get the prizes? How can an country with 20-60 active people fight equally in damage against countries with 150-200 active people? Of course an medium size country can try gather an top 5 position, but at which costs? Their people will have to burn at least 300 EDs to get their countries at top 5, and they will receive what? Well, 30 EDS... is that interesting for the 59 countries that are not in top 15 fire power ranking?

Main thing there is the GROSS damage, and I am highlighting this ´gross´ because it could be simply solved by dividing the gross damage by the active and 2 click citizens of an country. Admins umed they used the total damage each country made since 1th september to balance the teams by damage, the same thing they could do to know how many players logged in since 1th september to divide the total damage of the country by their number of active-2click citizens, or by the total lation of the country, anything that could give medium-small size countries an opportunity to fight for the prizes and have fun.

Basically admins allowed countries that already powerful as to get.... more powerful. We have to analyse the centripetal movement of damage concentration this tournament brought. With gold mines, energy drinks and RPGs as prizes for the big countries, players will just tend to apply for their citizenships when these events are about to happen, because they know their small-medium countries will have no chances in these tournaments, thus making big and powerful countries even more powerful and big, which is something really not necessary. Admins could simply use these tournaments to make an centrifugal movement of damage concentration instead, by giving small-medium size countries an chance to get prizes and so estimulating their growth and habitation. (Blocking citizenship applications few days before tournaments would avoid these countries get in-occupied only for events)

Another issue is that the on-going battles wasn´t paralyzed. If you wanted to balance the teams by the total damage done, it is expected that they will fight in the tournament, right? There was a major battle happening parallel to the tournament: Greece vs Macedonia. And guess what? Both were in the same team, team B, such an big disadvantage for that team already, with 2 major big countries fighting in a important battle while tournament take place. That shouldn´t be supposed to happen if the goal is to balance the teams...

Despite all this, I think I no need to mention the absurd of 2 countries getting TP medals while others fight the same tournament, the same rules and get only TA medals... I really didn´t believe when I was told they were getting TP medals, it´s completely unfair and makes absolutely non sense! If you cant change the mechanic of an battle in an tournament, put the countries with less active citizens and low-ranked as the defender and attacker side.

If any admin will read this, I really hope you take it as an constructive criticism to make game better, a game that is much more than top 15 countries. The 40th country in fire power ranking have at least 10 active citizens and 5 two-click players, the 30th country have 35, that´s an considerable amount of players! These countries have active communities and they are no less important than the bigger ones, actual game politics are just encouraging the death of these communities instead of their growth. I really hope you guys make more of these country tournaments because it´s really interesting, but please, think well on how they will work, there are many succeeded examples of them outside eRev that you guys can use, smaller teams in Word Cup with equal prizes for whole team, defense shields by relative damage and etc...

Congratulations as well for the winning countries in this first tournament, I hope you guys got the point of the article.
Thanks for reading and good game.

the other game ,,they were inspired by,, , they made it so that countries getting TP didnt have any active players, so no inequalities. i d wish they d have taken it as well... and maybe writing a changelog after they edited the article :^)
Admin wont read this article without any image + too long to read for him because dont waste his time for this game

true! agree!
I really like the article i agree with some part like 2 countries getting TP medals and other getting TA medals not fair agreed. However small or big countries is out of question as every country or community can grow if some of them fail to do so it is not which can be put on administration head. There will be more tournaments like this in future the argument will remain same small community will never get a chance to get a hand on any price, so my suggestion is to fill that gape members of any individual country or community start thinking how they can grow there country or community to get the better chance for anything
the biggest losers of this fight were iran then serbia followed by turkey, hungry, romania and the other top countries, neither got as much as they spent but hey at least at team A top contributors got some medal that they can show off so there is that
Thanks for opinion bro. What Im saying is that the tournaments can get fair by dividing the total damage of the country by the number of active citizens, or making smaller teams with equal prize for the winning team, it´s just some mechanisms that can allow most countries to have fun as well. I don´t think it´s admin fault that some communties are bigger than others, but they can definitely do something to avoid the smaller ones to give up the game. Countries, with 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 active citizens can also mobilize their population to fight in these tournaments if it´s worth so. The question is just to find an way to give them a chance, without being unfair with big countries as well. It´s possible. And I agree too that these countries shall try growing their community, but it is something really hard, and even countries ranked 16th, 17th, with big communities, don´t stand an chance against the top 10.

Im not an admin but ive read it.
@Maousama I dont see how Sebia is loser. We didnt take this very seriously, we only hit with our ff, and of course there are few individuals who spent their stocks, on their own cost, we used double energy very well, and we didnt have some important battles Smile
Good article. Personally I didn t even got to meditate on any of your valid points because I lost all interest once I saw the shitty prices. It just wasn t even close to getting a return on what you had to spend to get to the positions where the prices were worh anything. I think the winners of this tournament were the ones that barely hit and got free boosters and some rpgs and ebs and the real loosers the ones that burt all their gold for a medal. And even though there were many of these loosers from each I country I think the biggest loosers were the owners of the game who failed to fool many people to spend their gold let alone have anybody by it lol. And it was well deserved
Serbia hit only ff .. lol .. and every citizen win good prizes, +gold mine
