We are small, shaped heart country located in Balkan. Our history dates back to 6th and early 7th century when name Bosnia first appeard on maps and documents. Our national symbol was and still is golden lily or in latin Lilium bosniacum, which can only be found on our teritory.
Through history we had Kingdom, were part of Austro-Hungarian empire, Ottomans, Yugoslavia etc. until 1992 when we gain our independence once again.
So enough about history let's talk about present.
People doesn't really know that this country is basically mix between West and East, we are like European Jerusalem, just waiting for you to visit and explore. Cultures, religions, nationalities, basically everything is mixed and put in one place.
What is our type of life.
Most of lation enjoy farming fields and grow their own food.
We have at least 5 daily meals.
We are confused.
We smoke a lot.
We love games.
We drink a lot.
What makes us proud.
First thing that is on this list is, how do we live in unity and harmony even when there are still tensions between us (citizens of this country) and neighbours. But I am not here to represent real life politics, let's say that there are some people which perfer more Croats, some Serbs and third Turks but before all that we put homeland on first place.
Food is something that you have to smell and try, some best unexplored cooks recipes can be found.
Yeah, that makes me hungry too.
Drinks? After one bottle of rakija, you will forget your origins, your name and your existance on planet.
You know you are bosnian when you drink coffee like this.
Bosnians love sports too, main two sports are football and basketball.
People are nice, love guests and ready to help and to be met. These are some tradional dresses.
