My Fellow Americans,

Following up on our commitments to civil infrastructure and welfare, I am pleased to report that the wheels of governance are turning swiftly in the eUnited States.

As President Abraham Lincoln introduces the Economic & Fiscal Stabilization Package to Congress, my department is working hand-in-hand with the Executive to ensure these macroeconomic changes translate into immediate, tangible benefits for every citizen.




ECONOMIC REFORMS: WHAT THEY MEAN FOR YOU
Macroeconomic policy can often feel distant, but the package currently before Congress was designed with the daily worker and soldier in mind:

Affordable Daily Living: By cutting Import Taxes on Food and raw materials down to 10%, we are opening our markets to affordable supplies. Lower food prices mean you can restore your energy daily at a fraction of the current cost.

A Clean Job Market: The upcoming Minimum Salary adjustments will wipe out ghost and inactive job offers. This gives active employers a clean slate to publish competitive, fair-wage offers for active workers.

Protection for Local Industry: While we make daily supplies cheaper, we are keeping strategic production - such as Hospitals and Defense Systems - protected to support our domestic business owners.

Monthly Budget: As your Congressional hopeful and Secretary of Citizen Affairs with the Economy as part of my responsibilities, it is expected that a budget will be presented to Congress so we know our fiscal receipts as well as government expenditure. Since we've been in times of war and reconstruction, it is only natural that expenditure may exceed receipts for the time being.
